F.A.Q.'S

For your consideration, we have taken the liberty of  answering some of the most "frequently asked questions" that some of our prospective new students may have.  We hope you find this section helpful.

Do you offer classes for adults as well as children ?

Absolutely yes, we offer classes for adults, as well as children.  In fact, we service an equal amount of adults as we do children.

  What level of classes do you offer ?

We offer courses for the beginner through the advanced level.

Are your classes "private" or in a group setting ?

Group sessions are offered for introductory piano, introductory voice, and all dance courses.  All other classes are offered on a private session basis.  However, there are some instances where private sessions may be an option, even at the introductory level.

How many students are enrolled in a typical group class ?

Piano and voice group classes may have an enrollment of  between 2 and 8 students per class.   Dance classes may have an enrollment of between 4 and 12 students per class.

Do you have evening and weekend classes ?

Yes, we do offer evening as well as weekend classes.  Our business week is Tuesday through Friday, 12:00 Noon until 7:30 P.M. and Saturday, 9:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M.  We are closed on Sunday and Monday.

Is there a discount if I register more than one person, or for more than one class ?

Yes, even better than a discount---whan you enroll in our   "7 free" series, you are eligible to have us pay for one course (for up to 6 months) for yourself, or anyone you choose. For exact details inquire in office.

What is the  length of  each session ?

Standard group sessions are 1 hour in length, standard private sessions are 1/2 hour in length.

Are the sessions billed per session, weekly, or monthly ?

Billing for all courses is on a monthly basis.  Although, students and/or their sponsors have the option to pay in advance for up to 1 year of sessions.

Does the student need to have their own instrument in order to take lessons ?

Yes, it is recommended that each student have his / her own instrument.  It is one of the key elements that allows the student to practice on a regular basis, and thus, affords the capability to flourish technically, as well as, artistically.

What styles of music do you teach ?

Generally speaking, our areas of concentration are in classical, popular, Christian and gospel music.  However, our capabilities are not limited to any particular style.

Is there a contract to sign, requiring payment of a minimum amount of sessions ?

There is no contract to sign, although, there is a minimum registration policy of 1 month.  However, most students continue their lessons with us on a long-term basis. Additionally, there are school policies/guidelines which the student/responsible party must sign prior to admission.

When does registration begin ?

There is open registration for all classes.

Once I am registered for a class, am I "locked in" to that particular day and time ?

No, you are not "locked in" to a particular day or time.  If your work, school, or personal schedule changes, whereas you can no longer attend those sesions, simply contact the business office and request a schedule adjustment.

How do I get registered ?

You may register in person during our regular business hours: Tuesday through Friday  12:00 Noon until 7:30 P.M. and Saturday, 9:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M.  or You may register by phone during our regular business hours with a VISA,  Mastercard, or Discover Card.

What forms of payment do you accept ?

Acceptable forms of payment "In-house" are: cash, check, money order,  VISA,  Mastercard, or Discover Card.....Acceptable payments "by phone" are: VISA, Mastercard, or Discover card.   Please note:  There is a 3% surcharge added to your card for each transaction processed.
